I was raised Roman Catholic, but I've been prone to the exploration of other spiritual paths since my early adolescence. I have evolved a pagan spiritual practice that relies heavily on Wicca, witchcraft and nature worship. I perform rituals, mostly solitary, and I view all life as perpetual energy. Since energy never ceases to exist but merely changes form, I believe that we are forever being recycled through various incarnations. I don't believe in "Heaven" and "Hell" as they are described in most religions. I believe in karma, though, and I try to live my life as the best person I know how to be. I do to others what I would like done to me. I believe in honesty, integrity, compassion, and sympathy. I have a strong belief in the concept of "live and let live," meaning that I don't go sticking my nose or my beliefs into things that are none of my concern. I believe that kindness is the single most important thing in life.
I'm interested in what everyone here believes, and why.

My spiritual beliefs are simply that while I belief a god or god(s) made the world they do not puppet it much if at all. I feel we make be some form of entertainment and that the gods may be not so different than us, simply a little more powerful. Going from there I do not see a need to worship any of them and am spiritual but not religious.

That's my big thing, spiritual but not religious. I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church and it took me 25 years to shake that dust completely off my coat.

I was raised Baptist. So, it's kind of similar. I initially wanted to study other religions as a means of combating them by discovering flaws in their views or retorts. In doing so, however, saw they made excellent points against my own. So, I feel no one religion is correct; they may all be correct.

In doing so, however, saw they made excellent points against my own. So, I feel no one religion is correct; they may all be correct. Or they might all be wrong. Point being we're none of us going to find out one way or the other until we shuffle off this mortal coil. I feel like if my spiritual practice makes me a better person - if it helps me to treat others with more kindness and compassion and to be venerate Nature as the source of us all - then it's a good thing. I do have a problem with organized religion, though. Mainly because more blood has been shed in the name of religion than for any other reason. I'm pretty sure that, if there is a God, They don't really like people using Their name for our own agendas. In fact, I can almost guarantee it pisses Them off. If I'm wrong, that's not a Deity I want any part of.

I find spirituality interesting, and some things do interest me. I do believe reincarnation is real, but I feel I'll never know 100% until I die, so it's just not worth worrying about and I like to focus on the here and now.
